Danny is a 69 year old man who born in Perth and moved to Wyndham (3000 KM away from Perth) in his twenties. He runs a small business and is settled in Wyndham and has not left there ever since. Danny is a single father who brought up 5 kids on his own in the remote area of Wyndham. As all his kids are grown up and he is semi-retired, he has lots of free time on hand. Danny’s children all have family of their own and lead a busy life and often left Danny feeling a bit lonely. One day, Danny came across a dating website and decided to sign up and see what is install for him. The main purpose for Danny signing up was just talk to someone. Danny said hi to Laura and Laura responded straight away, the two started sharing about their lifestyle and family. Laura spoke fairly good English and made it easy for Danny to communicate with her. From their conversation, they are very like-minded people and being old school the best form of getting to know each other was to meet in person. Danny invited Laura to come to Australia to see him. He also warned Laura, Wyndham is very hot most of the time and if she did not like it here he would send her home. Laura agreed and they both really want to see how things would work out when she arrived to Australia. Danny organised and paid for her flight to Australia and assured Laura she would be taken care of. When they finally met, Danny showed Laura all the things he loves to do and also introduced her to all his friends and children. They spent everyday together and they value each other companionship. Danny was glad he could find a person like Laura at his age to spend the rest of his life with.
