Peru Hop
Jeff and I did a quick google search of buses in Peru and ran across a glorious advertisement of Peru Hop. Basically, it is a hop on and off bus that takes you to the major attractions with some additional free tours.
Now, the Peru Hop bus is definitely not my normal mode of transport, as it takes away the fun of experiencing local transport! However, we only had a month in Peru and the bus made perfect sense for us to see all the sites in good timing. Also, this trip we had expensive equipment along, so having safe buses was a nice plus.
As a whole, we had a great time with the buses and met a lot of other Gringo travelers. I did feel like I kind of cheated with traveling because the buses made everything so easy! They even booked your hostel and other tours if you wanted right on the bus! Yes, it was a completely different way of traveling.
Nonetheless, we were able to see some wonderful sites of the beach, desert, mountains, and cities.
Peru Hop- “Safe, Flexible, Fun” haha how’s that for a cheesy slogan ;)
