Yandere!Karkat Vantas x Reader Headcanons

🖤 The perfect combination of both yandere and tsundere. Well, at least at first. Karkat denies any feelings he has for you in the beginning. At that point, he’s relatively normal. He’s a bit abrasive at points, certainly, but when you message him, his bloodpusher flutters in his chest. When you smile, his face flushes candy red. When your hand bumps against his, he’s over the moon!

❤ Over time, he reluctantly admits that he may be flushed for you (That’s code for “totally horns-over-heels red for you), and he says as much to you. The both of you have been friends for long, and you’re almost always together! And the both of ypu care for each other so much! So, of course, you say you feel the same.

🖤 Karkat strikes me as a yandere who only visibly starts going off the deep end until AFTER he gets into a relationship. It’s subtle at first, things like wrapping an arm around you or giving you clotheswith his sign on it to wear. Little, possessive things, but nothing too major. In fact, you actually find it rather cute!

❤ Well, it’s cute until Karkat slowly, bit by bit, becomes a total control freak. The way he does it is similar to boiling a frog. It’s so subtle you barely even noticed - which is surprising, Karkat is hardly the master of subtly, after all. 🖤 Karkat slowly restricts when you go out. First, he only allows you to go out with him. Then, you’re not allowed to go out near dawn. Then only certain parts of the night, and only with him. Then… Not at all.

❤ Total guilt-tripping master. Why would you want to go out?? Are you planning on LEAVING?? You want to leave him, don’t you? That’s why you keep trying to go out, and keep trying to contact your friends, isn’t it?! You HATE him! You hate him just like everyone else! And you want him to die!!!!… Wait, you don’t? 🖤 Not afraid to be violent if it means keeping you safe and his - that goes for ypur friends, his friends, or even you. Never feat! He’d never permanently injure you, or God forbid, kill you. 🌊 Will absolutely use her power as heiress to track you down and capture you by force. As much as she doesn’t want to scare you, using the drones to capture you is the most fool-proof method to get you into her prongs

👑 WILL find a way to get you to be able to live underwater - she might commission Equius to build a device to help you breathe underwater. (However, it’s my personal headcanon that seadwellers are able to make bubbles that are basically pockets of hair, and Feferi would make one for you to be able to live in thr sea with her!)

🌊 Anything you want, (besides your freedom, of course 38), it’s yours! She’ll give you the finest jewlery, the rarest of books, the most exquisite of artworks, the most delicious of meals, anything. She’ll spare no expense to make sure you’re happy!

👑 Commissions artists to make sculptures and paintings of you. She has them placed all around her hive. She wants you to be constantly reminded of how loved you are and how wonderful you look!

🌊Introduces you to all of her animal friends one by one,  saying that the two of you are like their lusii! Speaking of lusii, she also makes sure to properly introduce you to Gl'bgolyb - it’s only natural for her to introduce her lusus to her beloved and get her approval!
