I learned you can keep an octopus as a pet and now all I can think about is Remus with a pet octopus...
Otto and Victoria (In My Style!) This fun project got put to the side for a bit, but I have finally finished putting the coloring touches on my version of the #briankesinger #drawthisinyourstyle contest with #ottoandvictoria he had going on. #drawthisinyourstyle is an amazingly popular project going on for artists. It's fantastic practice for seeing how you can take a character design and twist it in your style. On top of that, it's a great way to support and appreciate other artists by letting your own audience know about artists you appreciate and let those artists' followers perhaps find other artists to appreciate as well. Instagram tends to be my favorite way to follow artists, and just among the number of artists I follow, I have seen a lot! I actually have created a collection/bookmarked for the artists I follow. Since my schedule for art is slim, I probably can't make my versions quickly, but I'll pull from them now and then for fun.

While they are fascinating, intelligent creatures, a great deal of thought should be given before considering keeping a pet octopus. This hobby will require immense research, equipment and investment to keep them successfully, and considering their average life span of 1 to 2 years, may not be worth the input.Just finding a pet octopus may prove to be quite a challenge. Few pet stores will carry such exotic creatures, and when they do, it will be difficult to determine the type of octopus they have. You will likely need to shop online to locate one, and when you do, you’ll have to figure out how to get it. Octopuses are not good travelers.
