One of my least favorite tropes is when a writer or director says, "How can i make this character an obious idiot? Oh, i can give them X accent."

How original embracing the classist stereotype of American Southerners being dumb hicks or a black person speaking with shitty AAVE that the writer clearly doesn't understand.

An accent should tell you one thing about a character; where they are from, not how smart or trustworthy, or good they are.

People making the pasta like their creators

Something that gets on my nerves that isn't talked about enough is people being scared to have a female character look stuiped in any way and always having them the serious and smart ones in most TV shows.

Like exeptions exist but dumming down male characters to boost female ones isn't any better.

They are people let females be goofy!!

One thing I really hate is when people are like:

Like if you haven’t watched the movie or tasted a good item you have absolutely no place to be telling me that you don’t like the item if you’ve never watched it or tasted something

“Oh Jo you should respect others opinions on things!”

Not if that person has absolutely no place to be talking (I’m meaning in the way of if they’ve never watched it or tried it)

Like look I understand saying stuff like that esp on like first appearance but if it was being shown to me by someone else I won’t say “oh that looks gross” or “that looks creepy” because that can hurt/embarrass someone who went out of their way to show you something
