I am a aspiring writer for both novels and screen writing!

I fell in love with drama and script writing when I was only 8 after joining a drama and production class after expressing a slight intrest in it (thanks mum :D)

I will be posting my ideas and random thoughts and I would love some mutuals!

Something that gets on my nerves that isn't talked about enough is people being scared to have a female character look stuiped in any way and always having them the serious and smart ones in most TV shows.

Like exeptions exist but dumming down male characters to boost female ones isn't any better.

They are people let females be goofy!!

Meet my Ocs!!

Mæve Danvor

Mæve Danvor is Marcus Danvors only daughter and child. She is 23 years old and has a crush on the royal gaurd Sirena, it is sean as a atrocity for same sex people to be on love so its a struggle for her to execpt who she really is.

Mæve is optimistic at the begging of the novel, it changes over time but never truly goes away.

Evlyn Monterno

At only 10 years old Evelyns Father left her and her siblings alone, he mither commiting suicide shortly after made ot hard for her. At 13 she could steal and smuggle to leovid but as they gew up she needed more for them.

Now at 31 years old they are left eith her brother (28) and she brings them wealth and food every mounth when she visits.

Leo Danvis

Leo Danvis (32) was born poor and had to work his way up in the world. He had a perfect life with the perfect woman until she fell ill and died.

Leo started drinking badly since then and the only thing that helpednhim was stealing so he became a bounty hunter to get paid for what he does, Evlyn's feelings towards him are reciprocated, but far less strong.

Ivon Evans

Prince and second born of King Ezekiel, he has always been in compatition with his brother who always seams to get the easy way in life. Alough he never wanted the throne the idea of beating his brother at anything never mind something he has always wanted made him hungry for power, dispite this he is the sofests of the group, never wanting to hurt people witxh is exploited by his enimes and even Leo near the beg of the story

Writing Challenge!

Listen to a peace of music, It can be classical, from a musical or from your fav artist (my fav is movie soundtrack) but make sure your not to familiar with it.

Then write about characters of your choosing!

It can be a OC of yours or characters from a TV show, book or movie you like! Here's mine using 2 of my OCs

'I have never witnessed love like Evelyn's and Leo's. A love that is full of pure joy and honesty, a love people go lifetime without seeing nevermind experiencing.

I am honoured to have a part in there now finished story, at least I know they're together now, not alone like they once were.'

It dosnt have to be perfect (mine is far from it) or long, just a fun little activity to either get you out of a writing slump or to write something a bit different

Things that are OKAY to do in writing!

-Not get it write straight away

Some of my favourite stories I have created have come from a idea that wasn't very good, devolp your ideas, it could take days or even minutes! It dosnt matter!

-Write Fanfiction/self insert

I started with fanficion and it helps your writing so much, it helps you capture characters personality and writing it in your own style, when it comes to creating your own characters having this skill will come in handy, trust me.

-Taking inspo

Inspo is GREAT!! The series I'm working on know 100% came from me having a crush on Lin Manual Mirandas Lee Scoresby (I'm a theater kid OK?) and I just devolped it, its completely diffrent from His Dark Materials now and Leo and Evelyn are my favourite characters to work on!

-Take a break!!

You might hear this a alot but taking a step back for a while to then look at your work with fresh eyes REALLY makes a diffrence. I can't tell you how many times I've either been happy or sad with something I have written only for my opinion to completely change after looking at it again.

(Same with art two but that's for another time :))

-Writing for YOURSELF

Don't listen to others that much. Don't shut them down but if you LIKE the love triangle trope GO FOR IT!! Someone out there hast to like it aswell, and imagine how happy you would be to find a peace of writing with your favourite trope of it isnt enimes to lovers (I love it but it's kinda overused). In my opinion if a trope is done right, then I would read anything!

Writing brings me so much joy, I love how I am the only one who can bring these characters to live, I love how I can create worlds in my head, I love reading books and noiticing techniques authors use and incorporating it into my own work.

Writing saved my life and I will never stop creating worlds, not at least till mine had ended

Okay but if you daydream yourself into TV shows, books or films

USE IT!!

If you come up with a amazing idea for a trope just CHANGE IT SLIGHTLY and BOOM!

For example:

If you imagine yourself in Piraties of the Carribean as a love intrest for a character or just in the story, work the original story around this idea, then change it to become original, then you have a draft :))

USING THINGS AS INSPO IS FINE!! :DDD
