Here’s the latest pictures of Pete and Repeat from Knoebels, courtesy of Brooke Dakota Rose from the Defunctland Facebook page!

The people at Knoebels have constructed a nice little stage for the characters with a sign on it that reads “Help us preserve our family history - please DO NOT touch or feed the bears! Thank you!” Some fans have been pretty handsy with the characters, evidenced by videos on YouTube, so this is a welcome change. It also appears as if they’ve dug up the bass drum from Billy Boy’s drum set and now have it between Pete and Repeat, which is a nice added touch. These changes show that they truly do care about keeping these characters around for as long as they can!! Unfortunately, time continues to take its toll on Repeat, but that’s unavoidable with latex masks. Time is not kind to latex in the slightest.

It’s truly nice to see Knoebels care so much about these pieces of animatronic history!!

Somebody unnamed in some comments discussing about putting the lime in the coconut and drinking it all up.  i.e. Does it cause or cure the bellyache?  Perhaps both.  Logically speaking, I wouldn’t even want to try drinking/eating lime put in coconut anyway.

Pete and Repeat

@panickypaladin Hunk stared at his scanner in disbelief. It had indicated an incoming craft, nothing unusual about that, ships came and went in this sector of space all the time. It was the identity of the craft that mystified him. “The Yellow lion? impossible, she’s here in the hanger with me...” Just to be safe, the engineer stole a glance over his shoulder, it wouldn’t be the first time one of the lions had taken off on some obscure mission of it’s own, but sure enough, Yellow was sitting benignly at her station. Frowning, Hunk ran a diagnostic on the identification program, maybe it was just some odd little feedback loop from his own earlier flight around the perimeter. The diagnostic came back all clear. “Ohhhkay then.” Overwhelmed by sheer curiosity, Hunk activated the comm. system. “Hello? Is someone out there?”

that I referenced a 1931 film and almost no one got it. ... Pete And Repeat is also the name of a never-ending joke and the post was about Cam and Noel being destined to play Gallavich. #We'reJustALittleMisunderstood

Remember when we used to say this to all our friends but, there was always that one kid who wouldn’t let it go (you know the one) and suddenly the joke was on you as your throat was worn raw and your voice became a horse whisper while you silently pleaded in desperation for it all to end?
