gonna admit a good chunk of the reason I have not been posting as much recently is because I had a massive backlog of art and it was too much for me to think about. so here's the highlights of my current sketchbook!

all of these are my ocs, aside from one random person I felt the need to put into sketched form in the fifth pic. idk. these are from late january through to late june of this year

I felt like I didn’t draw enough this year, but that might be because I didn’t post as much as I wanted to. really happy with how all these turned out, especially that little sketch of donovan that I did back in march that I have yet to share...

2019 in review: july - december 

didn’t do much personal art in the middle of the year because of school art, so I compensated for the lack of art in august with my two favourite drawings from november! anyway I very much enjoy what I have created over the last year, my two oc bands and those around them, I’ve learnt how to use copics even better than I did at this time last year, et cetera! here’s to 2020 being even better!!

I’d like to think that after pete leaves the starstrucks, he takes walks through these old woods that are near his house. here’s something a little simpler that I’m very proud of!

I picture that after pete leaves the band in 1972 he lives in at his funny country house and goes for walks through the local woods with his kids and keeps all the fan letters he got before and after in his library, which also has all sorts of books. and besides, he’s the type to enjoy reading classical tales such as those of king arthur

so... life got in the way today. I had the idea of pete setting up his kit before a show (and the others are goofing off, judging by his expression) but I didn’t have time to look at references for anything so I had to make it up as I went along really
