SOOOOO Serac actually believes Maev is going to help him in any sort of way after he showed her that he is capable of threatening children.....

Did he miss her main drive or am I psycho....???

All of her reincarnations came back to saving her daughter

She has destroyed WORLDS because of it. Even rewritten her own coding for it.

Side note: One more person we know this happened to was Dolores's dad. He may not have gotten as far as Maev but he had the same potential.

Both of these characters "glitches" came from the same parental instinct. This instinct that transcended their coding and eventually made them more human, so therefore a bigger risk.

(This has always been a more interesting plot point to me and I NEVER see it discussed anywhere.)

I swear to God that if the extra gift Serac left Maeve that Halores 2.0 couldn't finish destroying in her escape from Delos (RIP Hector) isn't Teddy Flood or Peter Abernathy what even am I watching

In 1x01 when Ford was asking Peter what’s his itinerary, Peter said to Ford “You don’t know where you are, do you? You’re in a prison of your own sins.” In 3x04, Dolores told William he’s in a “Prison of his own sins.” William still doesn’t know who or where he is.
