get ready for another round of songs :)
enjoy <3
It’s a Raid - 7/10. This song really surprised me. I don’t really know what I was expecting, but I wasn’t this. It’s crazy how modern this sounds. Ozzy will always be a God to me.
Honey, I’m Home - 6/10. Not one of my favorites. But I’m not really the target audience for this kinda thing.
The Sacral - 7/10. Jesus. I was not expecting this from you. The screams kinda remind me of I Set My Friends on Fire. This is what it would sound like if Attack Attack! made another record with Caleb Shomo
Pink Lemonade - 8/10. This is closer to what I’m listening to lately. Reminds me of some of the newer stuff by Broadside
Maps - 7/10. I don’t think they’ll ever top “Harder to Breathe”, but this one is pretty good
Rockstar - 8/10. I like a lot of Nickelback, and there are songs that I like more. But this one is a lot of fun.
Uptown Girl - 8/10. A man with nothing BUT bangers.
My Love - 6/10. Is this one of those British boy bands like Five?
We’re Not Gonna Take It - 7/10. Twisted Sister is such a fun band, and it’s because of songs like this.
Mysterious Girl - 20/10. It reminds me of the first live action Scooby Doo movie
I totally understand people calling Disco Elysium "Existential Dread Simulator", but the thing that's made me feel that the most is Moralism. It seems to me that if you don't work for the Moralintern itself, being a moralist doesn't really mean anything at all. Maybe that's why Kim works for the RCM but I digress. Any change that's going to happen is completely out of your control and won't happen until decades in the future (and you might not even live to see it). Being born just barely too late for the Revolution, and a lifetime too early for "true democracy." I've been in a sucky mood lately, and using the symbolic remains of the past to contact the present to ask about the future and essentially being told "yes, yes, everything's going according to plan" and being hung up on (I failed the Empathy check) definitely didn't help me feel any less small and sad.
You wanna know what cheered me up?
Anodic dance music.
I was trying to figure out what the hell Yekokataa was (in the context of the game or otherwise) and I found this song. It instantly put a huge grin on my face and had me bopping in my seat. I went from being in a sucky mood and not wanting to move to dancing down the sidewalk in the cold and the rain.
So yeah. I think I understand Andre and his posse a little better now.
excuse me?
