The Future of Indian Art with Aparajita Jain
Shreya Ajmani: What is it that you look for in an artist’s work before working with them at Nature Morte?
Aparajita Jain: We’re not looking at many new artists anymore. When we do look, we look at somebody who’s at least had three or four solos already. Somebody who’s already established the fact that they’re sincere about their practice. We look at content. What are they trying to say?
Excerpt from Aparajita Jain’s interview.

Listening to a Slovak 1990s compilation album here.
Two facts:
1 “Chcem hrať fér” by Sonia is here. On a CD I owned for years, and I absolutely didn’t remember. I’ve been listening to that song from YouTube regularly for a couple of years, and it was already in my collection this whole time?! Why?! How?!
2. I had forgotten how gorgeous Peter Nagy’s song “Kristínka iba spí” is. The version on this album is somehow different from the one I’m used to, though.* Probably a newer version. Gorgeous either way, though.
* Okay, that was the No Name version. That explains why it was different.
