peter capaldi doesnt want doctor who to be a typecasted thing amymore with catch phrases and fezes and bowties and pin stripe suits and he asked steven to not have a catchphrase and has a minimalistic outfit to make the show more serious

is this true? because i don't believe that an actor could possibly influence a show that much. he is more serious Doctor indeed, but still a catchphrase would be nice, i'd like him to have one.
