Happy Sunday! . . This series is one of my favorites. I have yet to read the last book, but I need some emotional preparation before I do. . The art prints was given to me by the author herself at the signing of this book. I got to fangirl a little over these stunning prints. . . Now, this is not a problem per se but see how book 3 isn’t the same editions as the other two. QOTD: does that bother you? I’ll be honest. It totally does for me. I need to find a way to get that book edition for the third book. 😂 as I said, not an existential issue, but it bugs me as much as a crooked painting on a wall. 😂 . . Anyway, did you do anything fun today? I spend most of the day with my kid at a local fall harvest festival. It was nice! This is the first year he actually enjoys it as much. Last post for my #YAWeek set is this adorable novella set in the beautiful city of Iloilo! 💕 #BuwanNgMgaAkdangPinoy ⠀ •⠀ From my blog review last year: ⠀ "First few lines at the beginning of this got me hooked, trapped and reeled-in!⠀ ⠀ The development of the characters, as well as Melissa and Lance’s romance were on point too. Somewhere in the middle, I found myself eagerly waiting for goody-goody Melissa to break and unleash her inner rebel. ⠀ ⠀ Her father was suffocating! I get where he was coming from but jeez, let her breathe a little. Melissa as pretty enough to worry any parent, sure, but she was smart enough not to get herself in big trouble, too. Okay, granted she did get tangled up with trouble (called Lance) but that’s beside my point. If anything, Lance changed to a better, more responsible student because of Melissa. Her father should know that! (Obviously, I have very strong feelings for this but that’s because Clarisse wrote this so well and she got me so invested. Haha)⠀ •⠀ Special mention to: + The secret date (the very first one!) as it was was handled authentically.
