the most annoying thing about the james gunn and nova stuff is that nova WAS in the original drafts apparently before he started working on it and also!!!! i don’t know about you but I can see how rich would have fitted in vol. 1 easily even without changing too much as a major supporting character. having him be the one who arrests them and then be the one peter sends a message to and what not. it’s all so painfully real 🤘😔🤘

i think rich could've fit in to vol 1 easily for sure, and there's no reason he couldn't have been in it. rich being the one to go to nova prime like "hey, i think this guy's telling the truth, we gotta help them." and then rich and peter could've bonded as the only terrans in space.
