people don't have to like me as a character and I cant read that one scene in red core makes me feel sick but (in my canon, at least) I was having a mental breakdown because my best friend died suddenly and it sent me spiraling because it was the 1890s and my mental health was terrible and I wasn't very good at taking care of myself and I wasn't just some snappy volatile asshole all the time! I’m going to send this while I’m still feeling brave but! You know what? I WAS a good dad! Maybe not in every timeline but. All my best memories are of being with my family after I’d decided to devote my life to them! I made mistakes yes but I’m going to declare it before I can go back to doubting everything. So I’m back in this kinshift for the first time in ages and it’s so lonely. I miss my robot kids so much (although I don’t blame them for not missing me) I miss just knowing there were other spgkin around.
