New toy alert!! Ordered a girolle (aka cheese curler) for work and got to play with it yesterday. Originally used for Tête de Moine, a Swiss cow’s milk cheese, I put it to use with P’tit Basque, a French sheep’s milk cheese. The curls are much thinner than your average slice, allowing it to dissolve onto your palate. This allows for a more rounded tasting experience. Plus they just look awesome! I can’t wait to put these little cheese flowers on a cheeseboard! Have you ever used one of these before? What other cheeses have you had success with on the girolle? 🧀 @usaboska #notsponsored #boska #cheese #cheesemonger #cheeselover #certifiedcheeseprofessional #acsccp #girolle #cheesecurls #curdnerd #culturemagazine #petitebasque #petitbasque #frenchcheese #playwithyourfood #eatwithyoureyes #cheesechurch #sheepsmilkcheese (at Bellingham, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Eqps1AHin/?igshid=5qkzinpm4gay
