favorite horror movies? some of my faves are oculus (my #1), get out, falling skies (idk if that’s horror, it’s aliens), & it follows!
a tumblr acquaintance (friend? i’m never sure how to divide those two groups) returned after over three months of radio silence. i knew she was going to be taking a leave of absence, but i hadn’t expected it to be quite that long.
also, she has some pretty serious health issues, so after awhile, i started to wonder if, you know, she was even still around. it’s a relief to know she’s alive, at least, even though i don’t know the state of her mental/physical health yet.
so yeah. not sure how to go about tagging this post, but i just wanted to make a note of that.
i am on xanax (8mg, 2mg more than the fda allows) and have been on it in some dosage since i was 11. i will be 25 in august. i used to take prozac but dont anymore. i have taken both at the same time when i was on the prozac. you can ask me anything if you have questions or anything at any point,
i won’t start til another week or two, but my doctor (psych/ w/e they’re called) wants me to do xanax for just a week until the prozac ‘kicks in’ or something? and then stop the xanax? idk ive never been on meds before and i am so confused like idek what these things are oops =3
For the person who asked abt US tx centers, renfrew philly is good if youre ED only but not if you're dual diagnosis. Tk sucked for me. Sierra Tucson can be good if you need that level of care. Remuda ranch is good, rosewood is great, center for Hope is great, Rebecca's house is the best, clearview is awful, Austen Riggs is great if you need that kind of care, but it's hard to say bc it really depends on what you personally need.
Thanks!
i kind of agree with you. i've been to renfrew philly 4x, but never to FL, and i found some similarities but a lot of differences as well. i do think though, from what i have seen and from what i have heard, that if you're going to go to one of them, philly is the one to go to.
yeah I agree. I've been to renfrew philly 3x (altho two of the times were only separated by like a week) and I've known a lot of people who have been to Coconut Creek and really didn't like it there/didn't connect w their therapists at all.
side note: when were you there?? we probably know so many of the same people lol

thank you so so much!! <3
Woman of the Week
This week's WWOTW is the adorable Hannah
Why she inspires me:
Idek where to start this, Hannah is just such an amazingly positive person, even with everything she has to deal with she is still there for people and will give them her time and attention to try to help them. There have been so many times when I have admired her strength because I know I wouldn't be able to survive the situation she's in or do so with such strength of character.
So really I'd just like to say thank you petitegoose for being in my life, for the little things like always replying to my silly messages to the bigger things like listening to me rant and reading those tiny tiny handwritten letters because I was trying to save on postage.
