This Event will be taking place March 12-18 2018. Monday through Sunday. Last year we had it in Jan but I was not organized enough to try and run it for the same time period. So this year will be March.
@moonlettuce had created a Petopher Appreciation Week archive for all the Petopher Appreciation weeks for the last two years. Since she has given her permission, we will continue to use this archive for Petopher.
My Petopher Appreciation Week Submissions Masterlist

I really wanted to get my stuff done for Petopher week but I don’t think I’ll be able to.:/ My ability to write fast is just no longer a thing these days. Maybe I’ll do a really short collection. I don’t want to post any more WIPS.

//I’d also like to recommend anything at all written by Claire (moonlettuce), regarding petopher. I’ve been awed, amazed by the luscious storylines and filthy porn, and even the RPF between Ian and JR is delightful and utter perfection.
I know you organized the whole petopher appreciation week thing anyway, darlin’, but I need to recommend your fics because they’re my favourites of all time.

Stiles falls in love with a married man twice his age. He doesn’t have daddy issues. He doesn’t have a kink, but it still happens. Little does he know he’s about to step into a failing marriage between a hunter and a werewolf, becoming just as entrenched in their shit as they are.
You picked my be all end all Petopher song, “Burning House”. So here, have some angst! I have a lot of personal head cannons about Peter Hale and Chris Argent, but perhaps one of the ones I hold most strongly to is that his daughter was named after Chris…
///
Chris came back shortly after the funeral.
He lied and told his wife it was a business trip. Their daughter was young, it made more sense for Victoria to stay home with her. She didn’t press the issue. That’s how Chris had ended up here.
He’s staring at the row of freshly dug graves, his heart in his throat, his hands shaking at his sides like they haven’t since he was a kid on his first hunt. Eight graves. Eight innocent lives. Women. Children. Oh god, the children. Never in a million years would he have wished this on his worst enemies. Certainly not on the family that had taken him into their home, treated him with kindness, even knowing who his father was.
The official reports said it was arson, but there were no clues as to who or why. There was a small level of comfort in knowing that none of his father’s associates were taking credit for it. But the idea of a rogue hunter who was willing to slaughter innocent children, both human and wolf, worried him more than even an omega wolf might have. If only he’d been here…
It hadn’t taken much asking around to find out about Peter. The only one inside the house who made it out, they said. Laying in a hospital bed, his body covered in burns. Trapped in a coma he might never wake up from. “Maybe it’s for the best”, the old woman at the mini-mart said in a sympathetic tone. He’d lost a wife and two daughters that day. Chris’s stomach churned as he saw the first headstone. Cynthia Hale. They’d gone to school together. He remembered her flirting with Peter in the lunch line and the wolf’s ears turning red as Chris teased him about it.
He remembered Peter looking at him earnestly, as he pulled back breathlessly from a kiss in the front seat of Chris’s truck. “I don’t care about Cynthia Williams. You’re the only one I want, Christopher.”
Guilt sits in his stomach like a ball of hot lead. Heavy. Burning. Consuming him from the inside out. Not like it was ever his choice. His father had threatened to kill him. Threatened to kill Peter. That was what kept him from coming back. He thought he was protecting the man he loved. But Peter couldn’t have known that. And by the time Chris had come back, Peter had moved on… or so he thought.
He comes to the headstone next to Cynthia’s and he stops. A cold chill runs across his spine and he feels suddenly sick. The dates on the headstone are right. Peter’s oldest daughter. He doesn’t know when he fell to the ground but the fresh dirt is too soft under the knees of his blue jeans, reminding him of what lies beneath it. His hands shake as he runs his fingers over the lettering. And he knows. Maybe moving on was never an option for either of them.
