this. though in my personal opinion, whether or not it’s easy to write (yeah it’s not) is irrelevant. the thing is that people (normies) can’t seem to get the concept of fanfics, and that it’s something writers do for themselves as hobbies and a form of self-care. they write for themselves first and foremost, they’re not writing to please their audiences. you get to read their works for free because they’re kind enough to share their works with you to read for free, if you don’t like what you read, simply stop reading and either go find other fics to read, or write that fic you want to read yourself. don’t be an entitled asshole

Also, I love fair game too, it’s one of my favorite fics. Everything about that verse just consumed me and I always revisit it just to read my favorite parts or to get a peek at Beyonce Level Diva Science Nerd Tony and his ludicrously besotted big bad Alpha wolf of a mate. I’m obsessed with the twins and with Valkyrie, I love grumpy old men Cable and Hank Pym and their doting sort of grandson Logan, and of course OF COURSE everything about Clint and Bucky in this verse??

One of my absolute favorite interactions for them is (all of them lmaooo) post Clint’s accident when he’s back at the cabin and stumbles outside barely lucid and barely walking from all the pain and there’s a silver wolf sitting right at the edge of the woods waiting for him 🥺🥺 and he has to beg Bucky to shift and come see him, literally has to be like “I’m dying of cold are you going to let me die?” And Bucky comes RUNNING to get to him and LEAPS into the air to reach the balcony and shifts mid leap so he climbs over the railing as human just in time to catch Clint when he collapses and takes him to bed 😭😭
