I've been reading Veronica Mars fanfiction since January of 2015. I've devoured whatever I could find. Poured over lists. Left no stone left unturned! So it surprises me when I come across one published prior to 2015 that I haven't already read! Especially when it's such a gem as this, written by a prolific author that I've enjoyed in the past for sure (Scars and Consequences anyone?). I always wished Heather had been around more to cheer Logan up when he needed it. I love this "fill in the gaps" version of events. Remember when Veronica deleted Logan's voice mail before she got to the good stuff? Yeah, this fixes that too. Go read it.

Speak to me of your Rory feelings, because I HATED her in the revival. I never thought my favorite Gilmore girl would be Emily, but somehow it was (not because Lorelai was bad, but because Emily's story was the only one that felt truly organic). Anyway, I'm with you on Jess, and Logan, and Rory. Just FYI.
I talked about what I loved and hated of the revival here, but to sum up, I think Rory was written as a self-entitled brat and there was nothing about her arc I enjoyed. It almost feels like instead of evolving she’s just regressing. And I’m not even talking about her being a go-getter and having overly ambitious goals. I’m talking about her as a person. Like, she’s a crappy person, basically. I basically feel the same way. I loved Emily, tolerated Lorelai, and kind of despised Rory. And btw, that ending sucked. (if you read the post, you’ll see I made pretty much the same points you did!)
Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why?
Hm. I mean... I don’t hate the whole Logan/Parker arc in season 3.
Logan had his heart broken, and with what happened to Parker, I don’t think she was into a “my one true love” type of situation, and so I think that they were good for each other to heal from their respective issues and learn how to be with someone again.
They were definitely never going to be an end-game pairing, and I doubt they even would have made it past that summer, but sometimes something comes along and it’s just... easy and nice, and that’s what they both needed at that time.
Which is why it always gets my hackles up when people criticize Parker as being “the other woman” or a bitch or claim she stole Veronica’s man.... like no, Veronica let her man go. She made her choice. It’s not on Parker, so stop making her the bad guy.

All Of Neptune's Children Flock Home
by @petpluto
After getting a desperate call from Logan, Veronica is back in Neptune, California to solve a murder mystery, clear her old boyfriend's name, and maybe attend her high school reunion. If there's time and if Wallace and Mac get their way. In order to do all of that, she's going to need the help of old friends, old clients, and the very people she's been avoiding for as long as she's ignored Neptune itself.
