Little Headcanon: I like to think that in their free time Claude, Petra, and Dedue like to hang out together. Like Petra and Dedue realize that Claude isn't purely fodlan born and so the three have tea and talk about their homeland. They would also share recipes and make food from their homeland together.
Claude tries to be vague about where he's from but neither Petra nor Dedue were born yesterday so they indulge him and he knows xD

Petra and Bernie are sibling friends and Byleth is the Mom Friend who pushes from the side
The idea of Bernie living in Brigid with Petra, Dorothea and a garden full of carnivorous plants is 👌
If we also take the theory that Bernie and Dorothea are half sisters and put it there, it's even better cuz now Bernie gets to live with the family who she deserves instead of the family she got and gets the best sister in law ever and hold me while I cry pls

Yeah, Petra's entire character is written to be recruited in my opinion cuz that way she gets to free Brigid by herself and that's what she fucking deserves
