Hey, Felix, I've been wondering... Has Dimitri been acting strange lately?
As a matter of fact, he has. Why?

Hey, Felix, I've been wondering... Has Dimitri been acting strange lately?
As a matter of fact, he has. Why?
A lot of people seem to forget that while—yes—Claude and Edelgard have similar ideals, they are still fundamentally* opposed to one another. Claude is not an “ends justify the means type of guy”. He’s a diplomat and, hell, he states multiple times in-game that he thinks El’s methods are far* too bloody. Besides, it’s not like Edelgard trusts him anyway lmao
So first, I'm very flattered you read my posts and thought "yes, this is a person I wanna vent to" because that's what I aspire to! I just want to be someone people feel comfortable enough with to just let loose about this stuff, so thank you very much
And secondly, hooooooow do people look at a character who openly states he's been a victim of racism his entire life and then immediately go "I will forget this now, haha brown man dumb, make mistake, no good leader" like...I'd have more luck explaining to a brick wall why that's seven different ways of wrong
AnD tHe gODdaMn cHeATInG FiCs!!!
It's like people just conveniently forget that Claude has the biggest goddamn trust issues ever. To a point that he carries around stomach poison while in fucking class!
A gross misinterpretation of his character. Those are probably the same people who look at Dimitri and go "feral beast man, stinky and dirty, would assault Byleth, hot" and think that's a good way to describe him. Or the people who look at Edie and either call her a straight up hero or a nazi.
They should be banned from playing this game. Banned, and have their memories of it erased. So tired of them...
"Claude is badly written", no, you fungus, you just can't look past your own fucking nose. Read a book.
I feel like when Claude and Hilda met for the first time, they'll stare at each other and just 'knew'. Cue the handshake/arm grip/warrior grip along with their evil grin, "My comrade!!" And everyone immediately felt a cold shudder of chaotic premonition.
Does this sound about right? 😂
I hear there are a small but nasty subset of Claude fans who are vicious if you like Claude in the “wrong way” and very judgy, so you may have just had a run-in with one of them. Either way I really hope none of them come to bother you. I love your Claude love!
Ah, you know how it is! It's just like the people who think Edie could never do anything wrong or who treat Dimitri like a mindless animal and think it's hot. People are entitled to their opinion, even if they're super wrong, and I'm entitled to blocking them if they think they can clown in my inbox!
I will love my beautiful husband until I die, he's the love of my life and perfect in his imperfection, and I love you for bearing with me, dear anon!
Thank you for your support! ❤️
Claude and Dimitri give me a vibe very similar to my boyfriend and his best friend. Both of them are thoughtful, intelligent, mature individuals; but when put in the same place and left unsupervised will do things like tie skiis to the back of a truck and go mud-skiing.
Oh yeah, absolutely. They're intelligent but not smart.
They have chaotic dumbass energy and I doubt anyone who isn't Byleth could keep that under control. Except Byleth isn't actually trying, she'd be the one driving the truck.
Got a Bad Take™️ for you: Claude is poorly-written because he decided to “prolong the war” in VW instead of immediately siding with Edelgard. It totally isn’t ooc for him to abandon his morals and join El on a bloody crusade against the church because they have (on a surface-level) similar ideologies :)
"The Empire is busy invading the Kingdom while our borders are still relatively safe, I'm definitely gonna surrender right away, that sounds like a great idea."
I mean...what did they want him to do? Sell out his people to an enemy literally trying to crush their way of life, with no guarantee that they will be treated like human beings especially since he knows their leader is not only in league with people conducting blood experiments but is also a casual grave robber?
Yeah, great idea guys, doesn't sound like an absolute shit show waiting to happen. Not at all.
Claude was smart enough to keep his territory out of the fighting for five year, how the fuck would him giving up change anything except destroy any chance of actually saving his people.
It's not like focusing on his own country is bad, it's the sensible thing to do if you're low on fighting power. Protecting your own people should be the priority, which is incidentally the exact same thing the Faerghus loyal forces were trying to do. The Alliance just surrendering without a fight would have changed absolutely dick.
You know what would've made the war a lot shorter? Not. Fucking. Starting. One.
Besides that, Claude's campaign ends up being the one with the least casualties because of how he focuses his force's attacks on strategic locations.
Man, grasping at straws. Sometimes this fandom sucks...
I was just thinking about Them (Claude and Hilda) and like, the first free day. Where like all three lords are hanging out with their retainers? Which of course makes sense, it's a quick and easy way of telling you who the retainers are, but like, unlike the other two pairs Claude and Hilda literally just met? And still it feels like they're plotting. It's that best friends at first sight energy. It gets to me sometimes. I love them
Like right?!
They're basically "hey, I don't know you very well but let's be chaotic dumbasses together" and then they just do it
Beautiful, stunning, show stopping, exactly my kinda stuff
Sitri has said to have very fragile body. Okay but if she was weak physically, Jeralt said once to Byleth how their mother was smart. So smart. This give me the impression of Sitri might very good in tactics or just might very good at reading people. Imagine Claude playing chess alone, getting bored and ask sitri to play with him. Sitri being a sweetheart, say yes and then beat his ass in the game.
Oh I like that, just Claude and Sitri bonding over their mutual talent for strategy while Byleth and Jeralt watch from the sidelines cuz they're better at tactics and love their partners very much
