you basically already spoke my mind in your reply to this,  but I’m a sucker for writing dark / fucked up stuff.  doesn’t matter if it’s my character doing it,  or my character having it done to: if there’s gore,  blood, ooze, murder, death, torture ( and even non-con, though i wouldn’t go into much detail ) or any variation of there not being a good ending somewhere --- count me in! wouldn’t even shy away from killing off my own character, as long as the verse is contained; on top of that, if there’s then any way possible to add more eldritch to the entire thing i’ll basically be crying happy tears. 

you know, i used to write in a crime based oc rp group here on tumblr where i got to write those kind of themes often and when it closed down i brought one of my characters from over there to the indie rpc. of course, when i saw some of the rpc’s reaction towards people writing horror, or people writing truly nasty, irredeemable villains with skewed sense of morals i tried to thread a lot more carefully around that kind of thing. i had to water down my character a lot and eventually dropped him because it didn’t feel like the same character to me anymore. i mean, i’m not saying this caution isn’t without good reason, as there is a marked difference between writing a villain in a book or a show and writing them within the context of rp and some people do really fap an unreasonable amount over their own villainous characters, completely forgetting that they are, in fact, a villain that has done some really bad stuff--- but i don’t buy into the idea that people can or will only write characters that they identify with or even like, if that makes sense?  and the rpc does have difficulties keeping ic and ooc separated.

but that as an aside, GIVE ME SOME HORROR SEYMOUR.

        80′s animu futuristic motorcycle gang au, where there is a strange virus going around turning people slowly to stone, but it also gives you super strength before you completely succumb and Tantalus want to get hold of the cure because Blank has the virus.. and Kuja is like a black market trader of a psuedo ‘cure’... So they’re going to try and rob him of the formula because it’s too expensive. How’s that.

He's a mixture of both. Ideally he wants this to be as good as they possibly can be but he knows that's often not achievable so he'll work with the flow to make things as good as reasonably plausible.
