petra the time traveller. it's all perchance. hange is someone out of school, a bit older. their younger brother eren, is a friend of petras, and attends her college. one day petra spots zoe outside the science department, just looking at some flowers or playing with a stray animal. something trivial. zoe offers to walk petra home, zoe gets hit by a bus on the way there. petra wakes up in the middle of class. was it a dream? but this is just like before--zoe is out there with an animal, messing around, makes the same offer. and this repeats. over. and over.
im not really sure for modern with time traveller zoe but holy shit canon verse and time traveller zoe. zoe was actually a lot younger. they were actually in petras trainee squad. as the timeline got reset again and again they were thrown further and further back in time and thats why theyre her superior now. the two actually used to be good friends. hell.

he always sings to himself when he's alone in his car; palms drumming against the wheel, hollering above the deafening torrent of rain that rushes the window shield, hushing and howling. he should be more careful in this weather, when he can see the reflection of his headlights mirrored back at him -- but it's just him on the road. him and a Pink Floyd album. it's late. dark as pitch, and the lonely stretch of tree-lined highway offers no refuge from the suffocating darkness.
he hunches over the wheel, masking anxiety with volume. he's made this drive a hundred times -- family home to 'bachelor pad', as his mother infuriatingly puts it -- why should a little rain get in the way?
as it turns out, it's not the rain that gets in the way.
he knows something is off when he sees the twin back lights in the distance -- not parallel to to road, as they should be, but staggered. 90 degrees. his stomach flips; the car ahead of him had done the same.
the very last thing Auruo Bossard wants to do is face the raging downpour and the very real prospect of finding a mangled human being somewhere within the looming wreckage, but, steeling himself, he slows. "Fuck...fuck...fuck...fuck..." his repeating mantra. his own hail mary. he stops the car, swallows.
there's smoke in the glare of his lights. the smell of gasoline. "Fuck."
Auruo yanks a flashlight from his glove compartment and promptly catapults himself from the car -- he's soaked immediately. the hiss of rain is nearly indistinguishable from the hiss of steam escaping the wrecked vehicle, even as he stumbles closer.
"Oi!" he yells, slipping as he steps from tarmac into soft grass and mud. "Anyone in there!? Hey!" the flashlight beam roves shakily for a fraught moment before he spots something--
there she is, half-way out the window; a woman with -- what is that, red hair? -- sprawled limp in the dirt. Auruo swallows down bile. rain drips from his nose.
his shoes clumsily kick up soil as he blunders to her side, kneeling down in the mud, curling his arms beneath hers to yank her body away from the overturned car. she's cold, muddy. he's scared shitless.
"Hey...hey! You alive? Listen, can y' hear m--?!" his breath stops when he flips her over; freckles, upturned nose, that fastidious part in her hair... he knows this woman.
the name he's forgotten, but not the face. never the face.
rain hits her cheeks, catches in the hollows of her eyelids. he needs to stop spacing out. Auruo pats roughly at her cheek, "Hello? Fuck. Shit, c'mon..." bends down close to her face to check if he can feel breath or hear it. idiot; he can hardly hear his own ragged gasps.
he grabs her wrist and grapples for a pulse... she's still there.
"Jesus fuckin' christ..." he gasps, face turning momentarily skyward in relief. he lets it sink in for a fleeting second before he's lifting her from the ground and carefully treading his way back to his car.
door flung open -- he lays her down in the back seat and sits himself in the front, dizzy with unnamed emotion. what a fuckin' night. shaking fingers dial the all-important 9-1-1.
he hangs his head, foot jittering with anxiety, humming along tremulously to Us and Them.
So, I'm about up to a year on this blog. Honestly, I never thought I would of come so far and at first I remember being terrified of RPing as Eren but eventually I became more comfortable and here we are today! It has been such an amazing road with a lot of angst and a lot of laughs, I cannot tell you the pride I have for this blog it is unbelievable.
I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has stood beside me in the processes and of course to the new people who have joined us, thank you so much for everything! The kindness I've received is overwhelming, please keep in mind these are people off the top of my head and don't take offense if you are not up here. I'm a forgetful person but chances are I always watch you from afar. Thanks again, guys! I love you all so very much. None of these are in order by the way, sorry for that.
