🧵- does my muse have hobbies? What are they?
unfortunately, elijah often lacks the time to pursue his hobbies but he indeed has some (that don't include his family lol)
reading: elijah loves to read. he reads poems, elegies and epics. he tends to read older 'classical' works and doesn't really take a linking in the 21. century literature. he doesn't like fables. besides this, elijah often reads grimoires either from his mother or grimoires he has found (which is a rare thing to happen). sometimes he also occupies himself with books about medicine, history and natural science.
music: elijah is very musical, he can play the piano and the violin whereas he favors the piano over the violin. despite being musical and a gifted pianist, elijah usually doesn't play. this has something to do with the fact that his beloved (grand) pianos often get destroyed by klaus during fights and he's everytime heartbroken about it.
cooking: elijah enjoys cooking because it relaxes him. it's a relative new hobby because he picked it up a few decades ago after the first proper household appliances were common. elijah is a really good cook with a penchant for perfection. you'll never get burned food from him. another feature elijah enjoys from cooking is that it produces a delicious result.
boxing: a rather unknown hobby of him. he doesn't do it around other people or if someone is near. it is mainly used to relieve stress and hit something.
sword fighting / nowadays fencing: elijah is a skilled swordfighter and he used to do that as a hobby in the past. nowadays it's hard to find a fitting partner so it's more of a past hobby.
