honestly, probably my first point of view ? it offers a lot of insight into what's going on inside whatever's going on in his head at the moment and it can be a little difficult to maintain sometimes, but it's fun ? i always do look forward to writing because of that!

there was no way she was serious. drunk out of her mind, likely, but genuinely considering the thought of the two of them as a couple? he scoffed at first, head shaking as he brought his third (possibly fourth) bottle of beer up to his lips in an effort to maintain the warm and fuzzy feeling coursing through his body. college was about experimentation and freedom. she was the one who taught him that, who insisted he got out of his shell and lived a bit while he was still young and unattached to a serious job or family. they were free. and in that freedom, she wondered what it’d be like to tie themselves down? he laughed again, partly because of the buzz and partly because it actually didn’t sound terrible. katherine may have preached about being spontaneous and fun, but stefan was always attracted to the idea of commitment. of finding forever with someone and just being able to breathe. living on the edge was fun, but the more he got to thinking about being a couple with her, the more he found himself wanting it. “probably. but i’d gotta do cheesy shit that you’d probably hate, like hold your hand and buy you flowers from time to time. you’d murder me in my sleep-- though not before sex. we’d have great sex, i’ll give you that.” he took another sip of his drink, still gently chuckling in amusement.

brings all the snacks and who supplies the movie: clarke is on snack duty and kat is on movie duty 

is usually the first one to say sorry after a fight: they don’t have a lot of serious fights (whenever they do argue, it’s over small shit so they just laugh it off bc they know they’re being petty), but when they do, they usually apologize at the same time. literally, at the same time. then they laugh and know everything’s going to be okay

is the ‘mom friend': clarke (and she worries a LOT about kat bc wells... it’s kat we’re talking about)

calls the other at 12 am to wish the other a happy birthday without fail: they both do, it’s like a little tradition of theirs :’)

FOR THE PAST FIVE MINUTES, caroline had kept her eyes glued on the plastic stick set on the sink of her bathroom. she couldn’t move. her breathing was shallow and shaky. all she could do was stare at the two pink lines. it only when there’s a knock at the door that she snaps out of her reveries and blinks a few times, tears that she didn’t even notice that had gathered on her lashes roll down her cheeks. caroline quickly wipes them away with the back of her hand and takes a deep breath, straightening her shoulders before reaching for the handle to open the door. the first thing she sees when the door swings open is a familiar pair of brown eyes. she remains silent for a whole of five seconds before the first sob pushes past parted lips. then the tears start falling, falling, falling. ❝ it’s positive—— i-i’m pregnant. ❞
