@Regranned from @carson_cats - In CA we have a particularly long “kitten season”, so a lot of our time, energy and focus goes into the younger cats during those months. We want them to be able to really be kittens, playing, running around, being free. We don’t want them ending up having to spend much time at a fosters or our cattery, or having to grow from kitten to cat without a home. Great for the youngsters, but then our older guys don’t get as much time to shine. SO- we like to take this “downtime” to really give our older cats the time and attention they really truly deserve! We have so many gorgeous, fun, silly, loving and cool older cats that are looking for YOU. There are many positives about adopting an older kitty. Litter trained, more mellow, won’t keep you up all night wanting to play! 😉 So to spot light our older kitties, next week we will have “SENIOR KITTY WEEK”. Every cat of the day featured next week will be considered a senior cat. Older in years, but just as deserving of a forever home. To help make senior kitty week a huge success, please cross post to your friends and family. It truly takes a village to make a difference.
