After a lengthy absence, I return with 3D stuff and due to me getting into Minecraft again, I decided to do realistic versions of Minecraft swords because I’m a sucker for swords :p I started off with the Diamond Sword.
Another visualizer video, showcasing the synthwave version with a song of the appropriate genre.
Androids, cyborgs, life through artificial intelligence, this track invokes the feeling of the assembly and activation of these things. Heavily inspired by A.I. based sci-fi, Set_Parameters - Initiate - BEGIN is a slightly ambient drum and bass track, both energizing and calming.
My second choice was the Wooden Sword and also my first time trying procedural texturing. I also added a few kinks in the edge of the blade to make it look used and battle damaged, just for effect :)
A lightsaber I designed from scratch with the thought of “If I were a Jedi...” The colour was determined by a quiz I took, which you can find here. Here’s my result:
My third and latest choice is the Iron Sword. I got a little more practice with procedural texturing and I feel like I did a better job on this one.
Now that I’ve modeled them, I can just pull them out of the screen yes? I’d love to make my wishes now :p
