“Alright, I’ve got an idea. You ready?” he asked, holding up the auction booklet towards the brunette. “I’m gonna close my eyes and point and you tell me if I’m hot or cold. Can’t be cheating if I can’t see it,” he mused, tapping his temple. // @peytonalexcnder
A Walk | Peyton & Sam
Sam had had a wholly uneventful day for the most part, his routine of lounging around and watching TV in his dormroom wearing off pretty quickly as the hours dripped by. Usually his days off from work turned out fun, care free and ending on him wishing he had a whole string of them coming up but for some reason, this one was feeling really quite dry. And so, when he found out Peyton was free and that she'd like to accompany him on a much needed walk with Sully, Sam jumped at the choice, calling out to his companion from down the hall and picking up his wallet, keys and leash, making his way promptly out the door. He needed to get out speedily due to the fact that not a lot of people knew about his furry friend living with them and so the less they knew, the more likely it was for him being able to stay. And really, the dog was a lifeline for Sam at college nowadays. Jumping in the car, they started the fairly short journey over to his other, less furry, friend.
Having done the drive a couple times before, Sam knew the way with ease, the feeling being amusing and comforting all at once. Never would he ever have expected to actually be friends with the girl who consistently called him an imbecile and yet here he was, on his way over to spend time with her on a voluntary basis. It was nice. Parking up at her place, he let Sully out the car and together, they made their way to the entrance, him stopping in his tracks however, as he saw the burly security guard, sorting out his radio as he stood guard out front. Looking down at Sully and then back at the man, Sam thought on his feet, taking a hold of the leash firmly as he started walking forward, with his free arm extended and eyes shut, trying to give his best impression of being completely and utterly blind. He didn't count it as his best performance but it apparently fooled the guard, Sam patting himself on the back profusely as the elevator took him up to Peyton's posh and very immaculate home. He stepped out the elevator minutes later, Sully in hand. 'Pey?' he called out. 'You around?'
Texts to Peyton
Landon: Not much really. Just watching some Netflix.
Text: Hello.
Text: Hey what's up?
peytonalexander replied to your post: I, Rachel Berry, actually got invited to my first college soiree.
That sounds completely uncivilized.
It was... I don't even know what to call it.
