My goddamn teenage nephew made me cry last night (happy crying, don't worry).

After he wished me a happy birthday and send a few goofy "single life" memes, the conversation turned a bit more serious. I told him that relationships aren't a cure-all, that the important thing is to have a good relationship with yourself. He replied:

"Yeah I know. But you've been single for a while and it's unfair because you're an awesome person and you need to meet someone."
