I make the biggest plot twists, don't I?

She's always known they were different. She looked at girls a different way, and he looked at boys a different way. But they've been friends since they could remember and they did love each other, but to a certain extent. They never regretted anything with one another, but their hearts yearned for different people. She knew this and talked to him about it.

"I know you love Frank." She didn't mean for it to sound accusing, sitting at the dinner table with her plate untouched while Alex dug into the dinner she made. He froze, spoon held halfway from his face as his eyes widened and he looked at her.

"What?" It's stuttered out, something unusual creeping into his soft voice and Athena shakes her head, holding her hands out and relaxing her posture.

"It's okay, Al. I know you do. You know I don't judge, I'm the same way." She smiles at him and he relaxes the slightest, but a fine eyebrow raises at her words.

"Who do you love?" It's weird. They're best friends, they're married with a beautiful son. But they can't love each other the way they want to. They aren't normal.

Athena blushes, looking down at her plate and tapping her left foot. "It doesn't matter. She'll never love me the same."

"Frank would never love me the same either. Tell me, Thena." Alex intertwines their hands together and Athena sighs, looking at him with a pink face.

"Jenny."

"Oh..." "Yeah." Athena shakes her head, laughing under her breath. "I'm love with a happily married straight woman."

"I'm in love with a happy single straight man."

They stare at each other before laughing softly, their minds at ease but their hearts hurting because the people they love with their whole being will never love them back.

"Nothing...nothing will change between us, right?" Alex looks anxious, worrying his bottom lip and Athena shakes her head, caressing his hands with her thumbs.

"No, of course not. I love you, I will always love you, Al."

"Me too." Alex smiles, pulling his hands back and grabbing his spoon again. "What would I do without you?"

"Probably be eating some nasty DFAC food." She teases and he laughs.

"Hell no. I've had enough of that lifestyle."

They would always love each other. But they would also love different people.

Trans Male Louie Duck Headcannon

So recently I fell in love with the headcannon that Louie Duck is trans, so I am going to explain why I love it in the hope that I will get more trans Louie content. Okay, so

He hates his legal name, Lewellyn, which I dont know about you, but sounds like an effeminate neutral name. It sounds like a lot of people shortened it to Ellen or Elly.

He wears a sweatshirt at all times. We've seen that the others own other clothes. Louie pretty much just wears that sweatshirt and a suit, which gives a lot of trans masc people gender euphoria.

He feels unaccepted (particularly in season 2 episode 1), like he's the odd one out of the triplets.

He's seen as the evil triplet because he's sly, witty, defensive and materialistic. Sly, witty and, defensive can accumulate over the time of him needing to prove he's a guy, needing other people to believe that he was born a guy for his own safety. He may be materialistic because something that's always been iffy for Louie is physical things, i.e, his body.

Also, surgeries are fucking expensive, could be a part of the liking money thing.

He is the green triplet. Maybe it's a personal thing, but I feel like blue and red are more gender neutral colours (even though blue is seen more masculine for some reason) while green feels more like he's trying to get as far away from "girly" colours (like pink and purple) as he possibly can.

If you have anymore things, feel free to reblog with your own ideas. Or like... you could write or draw something for trans louie maybe? That'd be pretty neat.

Bonus-

His original name was Rebel, which seems kind of feminine, or at least the most out of the three. This would make sense if gendered ultrasounds exist in this world

I might just think it sounds feminine because of radio rebel.
