Okay, before anyone judges me, hear me out the whole way THEN debate me.
So I have seen people compare solangelo to hyacinthus and apollo, and I'm not saying that that is completely wrong, but it doesn't seem right to me.
I think that they are more similar to the story of eros and psyche.
In the story of hyacinthus and apollo, the competitiveness of apollo causes a third party(zephyrus) to kill hyacinthus; with solangelo I don't see anything I can think of to reflect this(if you do, please tell me, I would love to hear what the argument is for this, it could(maybe)be better than mine).
However, with eros and psyche, there is more similarities that I can see; with how when eros didn't let psyche see who he really was and psyche was still wanting to see who he was despite loving him very dearly without seeing his true face, it reminded me of how they acted earley on with their relationship(a lot of my opinions are coming from tsats, but I also consider their cameos in the first and fifth toa books and their start in boo)
Also, after going through the rough part of their relationship (when they were fighting in tartarus) will went through the extreme trials that came with their journey through tartarus FOR nico and his love for him; which I find not dissimilar to how psyche, after seeing eros's true face, going through the trials set up by aphrodite for her love of eros.
SO that is my thoughts, but if you think of something else, fight me for your honor or whatever, I love theories
