MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA ANOTHER EPISODE: ULTRA DESPAR GIRLS

I deadass don't get the hate on UDG. It's a good game, and MOST of the fan service actually benefits the plot, including some of the sexual jokes made by Kotoko. I do understand a lot of it can seem creepy or mishandled, but I love how it interprets child sexual abuse and hypersexuality as a trauma response. I can't defend all the fanservice, like the constant panty shots, but I can say that I heavily relate to Kotoko's trauma response and love how they went about her character. I can even go as far as saying that one mini-game with Komaru is not that bad, snd is actually sort of benefitted how they went about the 'not perfect victim' writing. Kotoko isn't made out to be the ideal version of an SA victim, she is a realistic one. She doesn't know how to interpret right from wrong (especially with sexual stuff), and puts others through similar trauma ad her, without recognizing what she is doing. Of course, the mini game could have been done in a way that wasn't just... you know. But either way, I do think handling a child sexual abuse victim in a way that might be seen as 'gross'. I enjoy how Spike Chunsoft handled all of the different kinds of childhood trauma, avoided 'power scaling' them, and showed the 'ugly' of victims and the truth behind the effects of trauma.

This is my very unobjective tier list, some of the characters I have up there are really not that good but damnit I like them. Also I didn’t think this through very hard so it isn’t super accurate. I’m sorry about not liking Chiaki I wish I liked her too. You can comment if u want my reasoning on some of these if you care…

I’ve only read Danganronpa 0 from the light novels. I read killer killer but it wasn’t even on here and it kinda sucked so
