‘‘i’ve been right here all night. what are you looking at me for? i didn’t even know the kid.’‘
‘‘I don’t know anymore than you do. But I do know that we’re finding the kid and this won’t happen again.’’
‘‘this isn’t right.’‘
she saw him just last night. they had spoken briefly before doe had left in favour for someone she knew better. and now he was missing, potentially dead. and doe had never bothered to get to know him better.
‘‘how do they expect us to just sit here? we could go out and help look.’‘
‘‘Oh no, not that. I absolutely hate that. Get it away frae me.’‘ She sipped from a mug that definitely did not have apple juice in it.
Entering the common room after class, Mitsuru was perturbed to see another Gryffindor passed out on one of the couches, a Charms textbook open in their lap. Normally, she would have left them to their nap, certain that they probably needed it; this however, was a special case. She knew that they were meant to be in said charms class right now. Having a Gryffindor skip any class under her watch was unacceptable.
She placed her hand on the sleeping student's shoulder and shook them a bit. "Hey, levez-vous s'il vous plait. Wake up please!"
The famed warrior sat in silence, legs crossed as his eyes were closed in thought. The wind blew gently and the grass waved against the breeze, and all the while Auron sat with a stoic look on his face. That was, until he heard a small bark come from his side. One eye opened as he glanced over to his side; a small, red and black pup smiling up at him. The warrior stared for a few moments before smiling lightly himself.
"You have as much energy as the boy." Auron said with a light chuckle, reaching out to pet the small beast behind its ears. He was, what they called, a Growlithe, one species of many of what they called Pokemon. Rising to his feet, the pup stood at attention by Auron's leg. "Come along, Growlithe." Auron said, and with a snap of his fingers the canine followed behind him.
Usually Pokemon were kept in small devices called PokeBalls, but this one was loyal. The warrior felt that keeping Growlithe at his side would strengthen the bond the two shared. Small pants could be heard behind him as Auron continued down the trail.
