sburb is a game in which controls reality? so what TT sees is john’s ACTUAL room and not a virtual version of it???? so its a real life sims game.

yes but why?
> TT: Drop chest.
She wore a dress Ronan thought looked like a lampshade. Whatever sort of lamp it belonged on, Gansey clearly wished he had one.

Everything in a book is important. But, the writing also challenges the reader to pick what they find most important in the text that they read. With House of Leaves the many detailed pages and odd format further pushes us, as readers, to make the decision of what matters and what does not. As an analyzer I find certain passages of a page to be more important than others. My mind focuses in on these words and the others fall away into the background. The image presented shows what I consider important on the page and covers up the parts I do not. The objects covering the page are items found with me on an average day. Items that I decided, un-consciously, are important to keep with me. Objects that are a part of me, the person that made the decision of what writing is important and what is not.
