Draftback: The Google Chrome Plugin for Google Docs that lets you see exactly how much fanfiction is taking over your life.

I discovered this while searching for a way to see how long I spent working on a recent chapter. (I use separate doc for each chapter.) It’s called Draftback.

(Tumblr was having some issues displaying text when I posted this, so I screenshot everything.) Img 1: I can see the total time spent in the doc, (18h:32m:53s Holy crow!! ) and what days/time I worked on it. The visualization of where in the document I made edits is particularly cool. Img 2: There’s also a list of every session I was working in the document, how long it lasted, and how many revisions happened. (I blocked out the user column… you don’t need to see my real name.)

But that’s not the coolest part…

You can create a video of all your edits happening in order!! Like and art stream but for writing!! I couldn’t put a video in this post, so here’s a link to it in a separate post here.
