Inspired off of the Harry Potter series, Molly Weasley has a clock that auto tunes based upon their status for each of the family members. I think that'd be a nifty electronic app one could use for their phones so people don't have to check in and send texts about if they're on the road or not.
Instant Temp
A device or an app which you pull out, and it immediately tells the temperature. Can also extend a dipstick to measure things like water temperatures too or safely measuring from a distance, a rod inside of a container to prevent things like pocket contamination.
Road Notifier
An instant boot-up app which you enter your destination you'd like to travel to, and it gets the weather, construction and crash slowdown areas as well as providing alternative routes. Also very fast to update so it can warn you if a crash happens or something relatively soon before you get to it and you're on the road, allowing one to attempt finding an alternate route ahead of time.
Serenader
A device that detects how awake you are and, once activated, will play a series of songs and slowly tune down the volume until you're fully asleep.
Auto Shutoff Radio
Just yesterday, after driving my dad's car back here to Omaha from my home town, I pulled into my driveway and started to get out of the car while it was still on... when suddenly, the speakers just seemed to EXPLODE (Don't worry, my dad said this was spontaneous and rather rare but it scared the pants off of me). As in, it started blasting static at maximum volume despite it not being at max volume.
So I thought... Well, what if there was a detection system to force filter all the static or outright shut it off whenever it happened so it doesn't risk blowing out my ears? Thankfully I was standing outside and the door to the car was open... It sure echoed across the neighborhood though.
FaceFormer
Wearing this makeshift mask, instantly get your face blurred out in the event of a paparazzi raid and you really don't want to be seen on their onslaught. Or if anyone in general is just recording. Does not hide from security cameras to prevent circumvention via crime. Allows the wearer to see normally too.
Vermin Vacuum
Suck up those nasty rodents and crap, specifically aimed at living critters that will tuck them away safely into a container, which you can then release outside. Can be adjusted to fit up to the size of a pit bull safely. Anything larger than the set size will simply not be sucked up.
