fsjkhsafljhs I was looking over your anon asks and saw that Emori Loul commented about Gil in a graveyard. And now this chapter talks about an archeology dig for Oz's remains. For such a happy-feely fic, it as some pretty dark undertones...

Yessss I was already sad about the pic of Gil in the graveyard but then Emoru Loul mentioned it coming up, and as you say there were mentions of the excavation... It’s such a great fic though! The premise of everyone readjusting interesting and cute, but it’s not missing any of the issues that come with it, nor the darker parts that must have followed the events of the last chapter... It’s super interesting though! :D

(I suppose at least we know they’ll never find Oz’s ‘remains’ cause they’re currently off in Abyss being possessed by some sort of God for what I assume is all eternity so yup :’D)

I was listening to my iTunes on shuffle and 'Treasure' by Bruno Mars came on and the first thing that came to my mind is reincarnation!Oz singing this to Gil just to tease him while reincarnation!Alice would be just confused at the scenario and Gil will be a mess of stutters and blushing. Idk my brain acts weird at times ahehehe

Well now I have Treasure playing and its just put the biggest smile on my face! XDD Oz would absolutely do something like that to embarrass poor Gilbert OZ REALLY BE NICE XDDD (Imagine Alice being more in tune though she’d probably just go ‘Oh just kiss already” and then both Oz and Gil would be a mess like WHAT ALICE WHY WHAT? D8 Alice wins XD)

Poor Gil indeed... It’s been so tough already just to get here, and now there are so many unforeseen (or ignored) issues to face... And now there will be a lovely graveyard visit that's sure to be a party for the trio huh? ;w;

Headcanon that there's movie nights during the summer at Lamontre and they play historical fiction movies and specials about the Dukedoms. Oz spends all his time on the job cracking up because they keep playing 1901 and Oz (the movie version of the Anastasia AU) on family night and random people keep coming up to him and asking if Oz Vessalius really had a Romeo and Juliet relationship with one of the Nightrays. Oz answers differently each time depending on who's around that he can mess with.

Oh my goooood yes I accept this post-series world AU headcanon wholeheartedly! XD 

He would probably know some of those shows/movies line for line and still never tire of them because of how bizarre they are. The question about Oz and his Romeo and Juliet relationship with a Nightray though oh my god so much fun to be had! XDD People who go more than once would enjoy just hearing his various sometimes-cryptic answers but man, Gil, NEVER come to movie night. You are literally the easiest target and Oz would absolutely do his best to embarrass you (and the movie will not help XD). Lots of fun to be had for Oz though! XDD

I frigging love this little post-story headcanon-world of Lamontre-working Oz, the 1901 musical and the animated Anastasia-Oz movie its just hilarious and amazing :’D

But imagine someone really thinking it was a cool historical fantasy story. And it gets published. And they go out to look for actors for the movie/TV series. And oh look, there's these three people who coincidentally look exactly like the people in the old photograph (except they can't use Gilbert because he needs to have a left hand for at least 3/4s the plot).

Pfffft oh man it would be really jarring to the director or whoever to accidentally come across three people hanging out together who just so happen to look exactly like the people from the photograph haha! XD And then they ask their names UMMMMM Tom Ato, Anne Chovi and Caesar Salad? :T ”Shouldn’t it be Caesar Seaweedhead?” “Shut up stupid rabbit!”

I just realized; Gil writing the truth of what happened to Oz and 100 years ago is a parallel to Arthur writing about what happened to Jack. And since Arthur's writings were found... oh gosh, I hope they're found after the reincarnations have lived out their lives, because if they're found before that things will get slightly touch and go for a while XD Particularly since Gil is also narrating the final scene, implying that he wrote about Oz and Alice's reincarnations in the book as well.

Anastasia-like-Oz theorists would just lose their minds if a book like that showed up! XDD

Seriously though, as previous mentioned there are bound to be people (especially ex-Pandora members) who, while not admitting anything in the open, probably told family and friends things about Abyss, Chains, and even Oz, the Baskervilles, and the real events of those final days (plus the Crown probably knows everything), so it's not unlikely that there would be people out there would would believe the story completely. If Gil did write everything after, and included their reincarnation, and there were a group of people willing to accept it as fact... Yes things could get a bit crazy XD

Although, for many, I imagine such a story could easily be dismissed as some kind of ridiculous fairy tale...

You know what I just thought? There's a way to combined the two Anastasia AUs into the same world. One, the "Anastasia Treatment," is historically what happened, and the other is the wildly inaccurate children's movie they made based on it.

… Oh my gooooood now I’m just imagining Oz, Alice and Gilbert in a cinema/theatre full of kids and Oz and Alice are trying not to choke on their popcorn from laughing at how they and their families have been interpreted for the movie while Gil just shoots apologetic/embarrassed looks at the parents around him when Oz and Alice can’t contain their snickering (or when Alice, halfway through the movie, suddenly realises who the tall, dark, cool guy in the movie is supposed to be and just yells “IS THAT SEAWEED HEAD?”)

Beyond the Winding Road had a musical in it too; movies and musicals and all sorts the trio would have such a laugh going through all this stuff! XDD
