Happy Friday! I did a little sale shopping this week and took advantage of a buy 1, get 2 at half price sale at a national chain and came away with this lovely reads which came recommended by store clerks. The only one I knew anything about and only good things is The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick. I’ve been very good with NetGalley lately and am hoping for a fall with gaps in my schedule so I can easily fit in these three and a few more that I have stacked on my end table. 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 Have you ever forgotten to post a review? 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 I have not though I few of my post were set to publish outside of my normal time. It’s kind of one of my worst nightmares type of thing to forget to post a review. . . . . #themessylivesofbookpeople #phaedrapatrick #womensfiction #hermajestysroyalcoven #junodawson #yafantasy #yafantasybooks #myfavoritehalfnightstand #christinalauren #romcombooks #romcoms #romcomreads #booksale #bookhaul #bookhauls #bookstack #bookstacks #bookstacklove #flatlayfriday #fantasyfridays #tessatalksbooks #bookblogger #bookbloggersofinstagram #bookbloggerlife #bookbloggersofig #bookbloggershub #readersofinstagram #readerlife #readersofig #couldntresist (at Lake Davidson) https://www.instagram.com/p/CeodRP6rxds/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Book #32 of 2019 The Library of Lost and Found - Phaedra Patrick This is a BEAUTIFUL book with a wonderful character at the heart of it. Martha Storm volunteers at her local library and feels a little like she's missed out on life, having been a carer to both her parents until they passed away. One evening, someone leaves a rather intriguing book for her outside the library and she begins to learn how to live again. This was RIGHT up my alley!

Needed a change of pace so I picked out The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper by Phaedra Patrick. “Arthur Pepper is a widower. Near the first anniversary of his wife’s death, he finally begins to clear out her things. But inside some boots he finds a charm bracelet he had never seen her wear. Arthur looks for the story behind each charm. And begins to wonder if he was good enough for Miriam. Why did she hide her former life? Does he want to know the truth?” This book has a slow beginning, a little bit sad even. But then Arthur gets out and starts embracing his adventure. A sweet book about families and change and love. #thecuriouscharmsofarthurpepper #phaedrapatrick #bookstagram #bookshelf #booknerd #bookhoarder #bookworm #booklover #bookish #bookreview #bookclub #novel #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookcover #bookhaul #bibliophile #goodreads #homelibrary #bradslibrary #fiction
February 15, 2018 Around the Year in 52 Books: A book published in the last 3 years (2016, 2017, 2018) by an author you haven't read. This book was super fantastic! I loved the plot more than I did A Man Called Ove, especially since the guy in this book actually went on an adventure to learn more about his wife instead of sitting at home complaining all the time. I read this based off of a librarian's recommendation. She figured I would love it since I loved A Man Called Ove, and as far as I know, she's still recommending it to anyone who asks her for a good book to read. I also highly recommend this book, especially if you loved A Man Called Ove!
