Imotekh the Stormlord, Phaeron of the Sautekh Dynasty, Champion of the Siege of Somonor, Conqueror of Hypnoth, Commander of The Inevitable Conqueror, Nemesis of The Black Templars, Handtaker, Grand Strategist of Mandragora.
"Order. Unity. Obedience. We taught the galaxy these things long ago, and we shall do so again."
Just decided to paint up this smug bastard. I've never considered Imotakh a very memorable character, he's just...arrogant, stoic and unbeatable. That is essentially 70% of everyone in 40k. Still, he's quite potent on the tabletop, and it's a hell of a mini. The cape was a fun challenge and I ended up using a ton of little tricks to get that electric shimmer on it just right.
Recently, I was lucky enough to create my own necron. Not even a simple war or a crypt. I managed to create as much as a phaeron
Prionix is somewhat similar to a snake. He is sitting, thinking about the fate of the dynasty

Aros is the Phaeron of the lesser Daiyoth Dynasty. Something of an artificer in his own right, he leads squads of warriors into battle with a Staff of Light and Orb of Eternity.
I have to say gameplay wise I find the overlords lacking. They are not durable enough to be melee but with few resources to make them ranged combatants. They really seem to work best as support, which feels weird given the sheer incentive to go into melee with them. Without an orb, they just don't feel worth it.
I was hoping to kitbash my final overlord for the escalation league, but I just didn't have the time.
CAN’T STOP! WON’T STOP!
After I posted that sketch the other day, I just couldn’t help myself. So here, have a picture of the royal family: Szarekh and his little girl, whom I’m now calling Nehetari. (Yes, I head-canon the Silent King as a single dad, so what?)
I dedicate this piece to @luwupercal. You infected me with this inspiration.
