I'm generally quite surprised it's a game. Like I'm not at all disappointed by it and now that it's out it seems likely they would do something like it, but it hadn't even crossed my mind that that could be it.

(1) Mabye the reason why phil uploaded so late (normally he uploads around 7pm so no one has to stay up late; let's be honest he's a dad) is that as dan is in germany (which is 1 hour behind) at this gamescom where he probs stays til 10pm

(2) dan would have not been able to see our reaction to the app so Phil waited until dan was in his hotel again so they could be seeing our reaction together and I just imagine them being all proud & happy and just laughing at how crazy this all is

(3) and mabye they’re on skype rn and it’s like in 2009 and they see how far they’ve came and just someone stop me I’m gonna make myself cry
