8) Thoughts about Wes Weston?
Maybe controversial, but I actually really love treating Wes like a serious character and not just using him for comedic/shitposting purposes. Yeah, he’s fun to use for the comedy too, but having someone uninvolved with ghosts knowing Danny’s secret? Someone trying to prove who Danny is? There’s just so much I can do with that story wise and I really love bringing him into my stories.
I could make an OC to serve those purposes, but Wes is a pretty established character for a large part of the fandom, and at this point, giving him a larger role in my fics is akin to giving background DP characters bigger roles, which is something I already do. He’s a lot of fun to write and his personality is really malleable since he’s a fanon character, so people recognize him, but I can still write him almost however I want without infringing on a canon personality

Classmates. I think they would handle the situation a lot better than his parents would, plus I’m just an absolute ho for a character’s deepest secret being exposed to the largest group of people possible in a very public way. It’s not really the best writing most of the time, but damn do I love it
