okay so excuse the very vague details i couldn't find any posts from the time given it was in 2015 lol but it was basically your classic "there was only one bed" theory that people were discussing after the japan vlog was posted.

i'll add some screenshots here an you can deduce for yourself:

i think we decided it was 2 beds pushed close together which i have seen hotels do but i guess we'll never know but what is important is the context of the time and how INSANE this was. bear in mind they'd just announced tatinof/tabinof out of nowhere and then dropped in a liveshow so casually that they were about to go on their dream holiday to japan.

the demon phannie theories were rising at an increasing pace like this truly was The year of the demon phannie and then seeing stuff like this only heightened peoples theorising. like there was so much that came out of this. and this only increased when they went to vidcon/playlist live like it was just the norm to watch any snippet of a vlog we got where we might have seen their bedroom to see if there was one bed or two like it was all part of the fun.

i wanna add onto the end too lol (this has nothing to do with sharing a bed) but the theories that went round at the time that they were holding hands in this clip:

like it was INSANE everyone was convinced they were holding hands and even i was too before rewatching to get these screenshots only to realise phil is just holding a bag ??? which makes it look like hes holding dan's hand

anyway thats japan bedgate. maybe i blew this out of proportion but i was there at the time and i remember seeing so many tweets and posts about it.

pre tatinof is probably the holiday vlogs from like 2010 - they always make me feel so cosy. also the mixing weird japanese candy powder vid, they are so soft spoken and it feels like they are just hanging out

pre hiatus there are so many but i would say the chopstick challenge video - the phlirting and way they look at each other is so severe throughout that whole vid 👀 basically just any heart eyes howell or love eyes lester moment - when phil pretends he forgot gamingmas in that livestream too <333

1. who do you relate to more?

I keep joking that I am Phil with Dan's mental health issues, which is only like half a joke. Aesthetic wise I am 100% Phil (like we could share a wardrobe I am not kidding) but a lot of what Dan has told us about his mental health journey and especially YWGTTN hit very close to home for me. I am also very silly and childish (/pos) and clumsy like Phil tho and we share that funky social anxiety, while Dan's poetic musings on relationship and any more deep topic is very much the way I tend to philosophise.

11. favorite series?

If we count their Day in the Life videos as a series then those, because the comfort the casualness of them brings me is unmatched. I am a big fan of just, domestic content of any sorts so like the more 'real' the video and maybe honestly boring, the better for me! Which brings me to Dan and Phil text each other, my beloved and I cherish the three we got and rewatch them regularly.

Oh yeah I totally agree like I don’t think if they wanted to get married they would hold off because of some people on the internet. But also if they were indifferent to it I can also see them waiting but I also don’t know if marriage laws have as many benefits in the us like they do in the us so who knows

Well see, that’s another thing that makes me hesitate when I think they’ve gotten married. Phil has always seemed to be a bit indifferent to marriage (that time Dan teased him about saying marriage was just a piece of paper) so maybe they’re not getting married/already married! *shrug emoji* which stresses me out bc if it’s not that then What Is It lol. I don’t know what ALL the benefits of being married are, especially in the UK, but here in the US I know you’re recognized as a spouse at the hospital. Like if your partner is hurt or whatever you have all the rights of the heterosexual married couple now. And other serious, slightly boring thins like you now have all the rights to their pensions, insurance, and various other things to do with money if something happens to them. Also tax benefits. Actually, that’s it. I cracked it. Dnp got married for tax benefits bc Phil wanted cheaper taxes.

does VIP normally include both merch and a meet and greet?

for all of their tours VIP tickets have included m&g, seats in the front 3-4 rows (all depends on venue sizing and how many m&g are sold) and an exclusive merch bundle you can only get if you get m&g tickets.
