I confess, I don't know much about Wes Weston other than he was a nameless background character that phans latched onto and for whom they created their own fanon. I've seen fanart—very hot fanart, I should add, probably posted on Tumblr before the Purge—with Wes appearing to be some kind of photographer or reporter. I generally don't go too far into fanon territory, but it's fun to think of Wes being a much-needed ally of Phantom and even Plasmius. Poor Danny gets dragged by the press way too often.
