is the second image meant to be a repeat of the first
THANK U I JUST EDITED IT OOPS
Question about the picture of Sans with headphones, if that's okay with you. Are those headphones something you imagined or is there a real world version? Cause those are really cool and I'd love to have a pair. Either way, nice art.
No problem, ask all u like haha. Uhh, no they don’t have a real life equivalent ( I Know of), sorry! And thanks! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Fudge that last guy, I get what you mean. I've avoided Public whenever possible, Region chat too. I guess that's why its so good to have a clan you like? So you have someone nice to run with.
Oh, I agree, having a reliable clan beats anything, and the one I have is great (shoutout to the silents <3 )
I’m glad you understand- honestly my problems with region, public, the forums, etc. are not always those peoples’ faults. Over the past two months or so, I’ve felt a definite shift in tone in the community based on controversies in game.
Weapons as content, changes to multishot, new versions of beloved weapons that don’t have an immediate noticeable advantage over their predecessors, changes to energy per second abilities, rng, and much, much more. I think having a critical fanbase can be useful, but it also makes them sour to be around and play around.
I’m not just “being WAY too sensitive” when I criticize or voice my problems with our community. I’m doing my part to bring my concerns to light and change the community for the better.
If any of you think I should just sit down and shut up maybe you should just unfollow me
Hello! I'm the anonymous Heir Of Mind who wanted to discuss. So I run Homestuckroles, and I was reading your post about the Thieves helping others, Rogues going rogue, and I understood the Rogue part well enough, but I'm trying to think of how Thieves benefit their team and drawing mostly blanks. My main thinking is that Thieves are good at using their abilities to weaken enemies and fortify themselves, but I can't quite think of how else they can help other players outside of battle.
Thieves are unique. Both allocation Classes are; they steal their Aspect and leave their Aspect’s opposite behind. This can be useful! While the Thief is canonically talked about as being an asshole Class, I think they’re simply misunderstood, just like how Vriska considered Pages to be useless. I would think that similar to Roxy, a Thief of Void might be able to steal the nothingness from a precious object and give it to someone in need. I had a rather far-fetched theory that a Thief of Void might be able to steal the “lack” from someone’s body, being able to replace missing limbs or take away amnesia. The only problem is this would make it harder to differentiate the allocation Classes, so it’s safe to say that a Thief mostly takes their Aspect for themselves, and doing those things mentioned above doesn’t benefit the Thief. But does it have to? Does everything that the Thief steals have to pool up inside of them and bolster their ability? Maybe some of it, but I highly doubt that they can’t control what they get and what they don’t get from their stealing. I like to think that each of the Classes have more freedom and less rules than they’re given credit for. After all, Classes are present in sentient beings who can make their own choices, so every title combination is different even if it repeats itself. Theoretically it is the Thief of Doom’s job to steal death and sacrifice. This could make them deadlier, sure, but without a doubt the Thief of Doom could use these abilities to take away impending death from others, healing them. A Thief of Void, again, could take away the misfortune from others. All of this is speculation, but the Rogue simply moves their Aspect elsewhere rather than making it “vanish” altogether. The Rogue does invite allocation, so it’s also safe to speculate that maybe the Thief simply is able to control allocation on their own. This is yet another definition of the Classes: Active Classes control the _ of their Aspect, and Passive Classes invite the _ of their Aspect. It doesn’t necessarily strictly apply to only Passive or Active Classes since we see some of these definitions mix. Active Classes do the thing and Passive Classes invite the thing to get done. And the good thing is that even if all of this is straight bullshit, it’s been canonically proven that the Thief of Life was able to save her friends by stealing their lives before the Scratch so they could live on. Thieves are cheaters, and that means they can cheat for the greater good! As the Condesce, the Thief of Life could lengthen the lifespan of others. However if somehow that has nothing to do with her title and Thieves cannot distribute their abilities to others (but I doubt this to be true), then they can help others by becoming more powerful, maybe even by stealing their Aspect where there is too much of it to balance out their session. So that’s something, at least.
phantasmalwordsmith, Heir of Mind. Another long post that took forever.
What are your thoughts on non-time players using time travel? Such as Gamzee's use of what appears to be Aradia's music box when he meet Jane?
If they're using an item created by a time player, then it's totally a thing that could happen. For example, I have a time player OC who uses her Vespa as a time machine; if another character were to steal that from her, they would be able to ride through time the way she does. But I think it would be like someone who has never driven a car before trying to drive a stick shift; they just wouldn't have the natural talent that a time player has and they would probably screw it up big time.
But just being able to travel through time on their own, without the aid of a time player? No way.
On that note, we don't know much about Gamzee's personal timeline, how he got to certain places and times, etc, so I can't really make a judgement call on his specific case until the comic ends and we (hopefully) get some answers about that capricious motherfucker.
