More Phantom @ Prom headcanons:
-If you get Phantom as your date you're a shoe-in for Prom Royalty
-Main drawback for having a ghost for a prom date is he won't show up for pre-prom pictures because not only does he not show up on camera, he distorts/corrupts the entire picture if he's around when it's taken so he doesn't want to ruin it for everyone.
-When he agreed to go with his date he didn't stick around to make arrangements (transportation, color coordination, etc.). He just appears next to them when they arrive at the venue.
-He wears a plain black tux over his jumpsuit (looking directly at this post).
-If his date had an after-prom in mind their hairdo/attire better be windproof because he borrows Johnny 13's bike for the night
-This inspires people to ask Johnny and Kitty the next year. This is a bad idea for several reasons and CH implements a rule that Phantom is the only ghost allowed at prom.
-After Phantom agrees to go to prom for the first time, people assume it'll be a new Casper High tradition. Phantom's a ghost, after all, and will forever be a prom-appropriate age (at least in image and mentality). It goes without saying that at least half the student body will be clamoring for the honor. When people catch on that Phantom appears to be aging there's a schoolwide panic among the underclassmen. At what point will he be too old??
-^Solution: rule change: Sydney Poindexter, who is a Casper High resident that does not age and has been personally approved as "Safe For Prom" by Phantom, takes his place. He's not as swoonworthy as Phantom but bringing a ghost to prom kicks ass, period.
