2. an album you wish you could hear again for the first time

i know i used this for another answer but, Depeche Mode - Violator

seriously i do not think i will ever match that feeling again, it was incredible hearing that for the first time (headphones on, eyes shut, just living in and enjoying what i was listening to)

oooo, i answered this one already but i'll give another! in the spirit of NOT reusing an album 3 times lol Foo Fighters - Concrete and Gold

i've been blessed to hear 3 songs from this live ;w;, but omg this ENTIRE album live? that'd bang

there is so much to choose from omg. i think i'll go with Metallica 1986, specifically when they played kansas city missouri

just so i could say i'd seen metallica with cliff, and in my hometown (and on april fucking fools day no less lol)

Okay, i know i already sent you one but you seem like you're having fun with these, so for the album asks how bout Some Great Reward?? :)

i am :D !! tysm omg

the first song from this album I heard: Lie To Me! sure of this one because when i was first getting into dm, listening on youtube, i saw this song on the side and initially read the video title as “depeche mode lied to me” and was like “oh shit drama?” but nope just a really good song lol 

do I own the album?: no, but there seems to always be at least one copy at a store near me so if i ever want to own it i can!

my favorite song: Lie to Me (if we wanna count bonus songs then it’s In Your Memory!)

my least favorite song: im very sorry martin stans njkdfgb Somebody

a song I didn’t like at first, but now do: Stories of Old! took a while to grow on me but i really vibe with it now. was also kinda one of those cases where it eventually took on a new meaning for me specifically, which especially made me like it more

a song I used to like, but now don’t: uhm sorta same answer black celebration and ultra, but if i had to pick i’ll say People are People purely because of slight overplaying. still love the song tho!

my favorite lyric: So lie to me, like they do it in the factory // Make me think that at the end of the day, some great reward will be coming my way

overall rating out of 10: 8/10! another essential dm album with some bangers, but not necessarily one i listen to very often
