"F--!"
He whips around, nearly ready to swing at whoever had touched him until he realized just who it was behind him.
"...Kindly don't do that if I don't know it's you."
Julian is giving Luna so much candy now. She is given a mountain of candy. And a velveteen stuffed rabbit.
Luna very politely bows her head in thanks. Much like a cat seeing their favorite toy, her pupil grew massive at the stuffed rabbit. It took all of her restraint to not just grab it eagerly. Instead, she waited... mostly patiently until she is handed the rabbit, planting kisses on its ears.
" Thank you, thank you, thank you! She is so cute!!!" Another grin.
Once, Luna was positive Julian wasn't looking, she swiftly hides the candy away. It really is quite kind to offer her and she appreciates the generosity. But candy is so scary.
@phantomcurtaincall sent me the Spotify Wrapped meme- song #7: Strangers by Ethel Cain
"Look at how far I made it," Lucy whispered, touching one of the columns in the lobby of the old theater she'd begun to frequent since befriending some of the ghouls that called it home. The Palace was a monument in her childhood, at least to her. It was proof that substance and beauty had been once a part of her hometown; she'd felt a kinship to those who had been rumored to still reside in those walls, knowing that if she'd had her druthers, she'd never leave either. "Funny to say when I'm back in Carey of all places, but god, I'm at least happier here than I'd once been."
Ironic amongst the dead, but they were better to her than the living on this town ever had been.
Perhaps she should have expected Julian was near, considering he was tied to the theater body and soul. He'd likely heard her musings, and truly, the writer wouldn't be surprised if she found out that he somehow felt her melancholy, bittersweet feelings too. Still, she jumped slightly to see him. "Oh, Mr. Browning. I apologize for waxing poetic in your lobby. Hopefully I'm not disturbing you or your ushers."
"What is that— are you making that sound??" [ @phantomcurtaincall ]
"Don't--Don't worry about that. It's nothing."
Julian walks up to Paulo. He stares at him for a moment with a coy smile before booping his nose. [ @phantomcurtaincall ]
"No you too."
He sighs deeply.
"If you're done pestering me, would you can to join me for movies and a drink?"
"Charles– mmph!– what is the meaning of this!? Put my head back where it belongs!" [ @phantomcurtaincall ]
"Mmmm, No. Your body looks like it's having a great time, why would I ruin it's fun?"
"Now shut up or I'm going to put you in the jack-o-lantern decoration. You're going to freak out the guests."
"Finders keepers, Jules. I don't know what your body is bitching about. It's not like I'm hurting you."
