Phantom Five Moodboard and Playlist! Warning: Most of the songs in the playlist are my personal takes of the band’s main vibe and very VERY inappropriate
The only boy band i will actively follow
Keep me.. ❤
This is based on the character designs of @t-stray.
I've got new pictures of my Joanne Harcourt Phantomfive cosplay from Black Butler ! Thanks to the photographer : Lilico&Th3kid (facebook)
Black gloves everywhere and Undertaker’s carriage. And that Revolver, oh my...
So something that has been driving me crazy is this set up with Soma, and I know she did this on purpose because of how everything plays out. One thing though that I noticed now that I’ve had a moment to think is the fact that we have black gloves...EVERYWHERE! *waves hands around* Seriously, Ever since this arc has been introduced gloves have been one of the biggest points in this story. Each character has worn gloves at different times in this arc and we’ve been shown and pointed to them.
Early on, for example: Sebastian early on in this chapter is wearing black gloves. Something he normally doesn’t do as they are mostly connected to the reapers.
Then later we see none other then Lizzy wearing them:
Of course the P5 is also wearing the gloves as well, each one:
including Hardcourt:
Who also stands at:
Just a little over Ciel’s height and, of all things, is roughly shorter then Soma. Isn’t it interesting that she specifically put him next to Soma vs anyone else in the group for this shot:
By the by, Hardcourt was also in Red house with Soma, who would have become friends with him not only during the time with the band, but also during his time in Weston.
Then there is Blavat himself walking around with a pair of Black Gloves when he went to see the P5 show:
Keep this all in mind. There is a reason why she chose black gloves the way she did. She made them stand out this whole arc for the reason to make us wonder who attacked Soma. Each person here has black gloves.
So the gloves themselves don’t lead to any one person being a target of the whole who fired the shot. The next thing I have to point out is the carriage and the driver in question:
Important things to notice about this carriage. It’s a one door standard carriage. This is something you can easily pick up on the street. While people keep noting that the person has undertakers look. I’d like to point out three things.
One she made it raining meaning that the image is wet thus blurred through the window so you don’t get a good look at the driver. And there’s a reason for that, she wants your attention on the carriage not the driver. When she wants attention on the driver, the front part of the carriage is more prominent and forward facing. We’ve been only given the back part of the carriage for a reason. Two: Compare the shot to Undertaker from earlier chapters when he was on his own horse carriage.
Under taker doesn’t have the black puff at the back of the hat. Rather it’s off to the side. This guy doesn’t match Undertakers design here. If you notice again she’s drawing attention in this drawing to Undertaker himself. Furthermore, his horses are black steeds and the hearse carriage is designed for a mourning event.
Also of important note, the outfit that the driver is wearing is a common place rain coat that most cabbies of the time wore. Back in Chapter 57 for the BD horses, the driver wore the exact same hat and long coat.
Three is the fact that Undertaker has never, other then his hearse carriage, been seen driving one. Also the last carriage he rode in was the one shown during the Weston school arc.
Which is similar to the one that is outside of the house. What’s interesting about this carriage though is that Undertaker was riding inside it, not driving it, meaning that driver at the top, who again we’re not allowed to see (but in this case has one horse) and is a darker color. We also know that the carriage was sent via Redmond’s cousin, you know Count Druitt, whom we haven’t seen in a while...imagine that. Now onto the last bit, the gun.
This is probably, and again it’s only speculation on my part, a 1800s maybe early 1900s Smith and Wesson revolver. The closet thing I could find were these two lovely guns as I can’t make out the model number that she’s using for this, which would probably give us a date as to if this gun is actually being pulled from WWI (which seems to be ramping up a bit more).
This one in the picture is a Hand Ejector from S&W from 1915, used by Canada with a triple lock (don’t ask me what that means I have no clue), and apparently also sold in Britain as well. However it could also be the S&W .38 special revolver from 1889: It was apparently, according to the small bit of info that I could glee from a a few articles, used by the Police in the states, and possibly those in Britain.
The other option is the two colts that I found that seemed to some what match the gun in the shot.
This is the Colt new service from WW1 that was issued to Canadian officers. Again similar in design but not quiet what that image has. Still it’s nearly the same.
Then there’s this one:
Lebel M1892 - 8 x 27mm French Revolver - Rainier Standard WW1 French army revolver, the only military swing-out cylinder revolver made in Europe. However, it swung out to the right, of limited value when most shooters are right handed. It was underpowered, but otherwise well made and accurate. Ranier kept his from his French army days.
So there’s some picks as to what sort of gun it could be, and I’m figuring it could be the last one due to the nature of the gun and the era and the fact that it is underpowered but accurate in shot. Hope this might help others figure out somethings outside of it being a twin that did it.
Hello hello ! (First post haha, i’m nervous)
