And yeah, I edited out my surname because anonymity and all that. ALSO, I know that Richard Stilgoe should get a mention but for some reason we were only allowed one name on the cover? Stupid.

There was another version of page 1, with a close up of Erik, but this is a project from years ago...

This is from years ago and I hadn't ‘found’ my Erik and he just looked like a crappy Gerik, so I just uploaded the first draft...

Like I said in my other post, it was mixed media; water colour and digital colouring.

I mean, look at that chin. Who could resist?

I still love the aesthetics of the 2004 Phantom, and it was my first, I just like to poke fun :)

And yes, that is an Erik complaining about something in the bottom right. I feel like that would be a regular thing, but it would be more about Christine’s attention than anything else. I mean, he is like a gigantic child, right?

Also, I’ve always liked the idea of grey streaks in his hair. Maybe he upgraded to like... a silver fox wig later on?
